I haven’t posted anything in a while … I have started teaching the kid’s video class and that is going interestingly. It is a curious thing to shift from teaching college students to teaching 12-year-olds who are there to have fun as well as learn something. I find I tend to have way too much information prepared for them. So I have let go of those plans and am trying to have a plan and follow their lead at the same time. One group has plans for a movie with aliens and a haunted house, should be interesting with our limited time and props. I think the aliens will be made with aluminum foil, face paint and black t-shirts.
There has been a lot of swimming and picture taking so far this summer. I have been wanting an underwater camera for years and finally got the housing for my point and shot digital camera. It is really fun!
